Beware: Microsofts latest online map software may mislead you
by Cory Rauch 2006-10-08 Category: Software-Bugs

My father recently was misled by the latest installment of local.live.com online map software seemingly which gives out random directions if you try to print out directions from the site. It will display the correct directions on the site but when you print it display the wrong directions (seemingly random start and end point directions). My father actually is a big Microsoft fan so he gave them the benefit of the doubt that he did something wrong, and tried the software again and it misled him again. So he called them up but was told that there is no such problem.

I personally witnessed him using the site and it did not print the correct directions, though it did display the correct map graphic on top of the page. I personally could not even get the software to print. So I want to put out the word so no others go through the same hassle of being directed the wrong way using Microsofts latest map software, where past version have worked the new version needs work. And you expect these type of bugs on beta software, which this is not listed as.
